- SUBJECT: C++ Libraries?
- I'm a professional Client/Server programmer. I've been working on an
- inventory maintenance application using Visual Basic 3.0 and Access under
- Windows 3.1. I also use TrueGrid.VBX.
-
- I need to estimate how long it will take to port this app to the
- Macintosh. I'm planning on using Symantec C++ version 7 (I've used
- Symantec's Think Pascal before) and ODBC to access a FoxPro database.
-
- Where can I find libraries of C++ code that can be used together with
- Symantec's own libraries to cut down my development time? In particular
- I want something to replace TrueGrid, which displays results of SQL
- queries in a table format, allows editing of the data, moving and sizing
- of columns, calculated columns, check boxes and combo boxes in the cells.
- Any or all of these features would be great?
-
- By the way, are there better tools out there than C++ to do SQL queries
- and display the results in a table format?
-
- Thanks a lot!
